Totally stoked!

"Aruba, Jamaica, ohhh I wanna take ya to Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama...."

I just love the Beach Boys!
Lol.

Thats the song I think about when I think about the cruise Nick and I are taking on our 5 year anniversary in May!

We have been talking about wanting to go again (we went on one for our Honeymoon) but its just never been working out. BUT we are so close to Florida and the ports down there, we said this would be a fine opportunity. My mom is driving up to watch the kids....yes kids...sounds funny to me....haha. So that will be nice. Then Nick and I will drive down to Ft. Lauderdale ( about 7 hours) and board our ship to go to......

Half Moon Cay...a private Island for cruise ships.

Grand Turk Island in the Grand Turks and Caicos Islands....

Ocho Rios, Jamaica...I'm pretty excited about this one!

Last stop being Georgetown, Grand Cayman....I'd love to get out there with these...we'll see...I'm not a sea creature fan...haha.

So that is our plan on May 5-13th . So we'll actually be back before our actual anniversary but hey, what can ya do!

I just wanted to share my excitement!!

A little update...

My big girl.

15 months

We just had our check up and this is her stats:

Brynlee is:

21.8 pounds

31 inches

She is below average for weight.

She is over average for height...(not sure where that happened)

Then here are just a few other things I'd like to jot down:

She has 12 teeth! She didn't get her first till almost 7 months and now has 12!

She got 6 at one time, 4 being molars. Whew, th0se were fun days!

I think there are 2 more teeth on their way as well.

She still doesn't talk a whole lot.

Words she does say are :

doggie. daddy. momma. kaci. baby. help. duck.

She signs:
food. please. thankyou. milk. read. more.

She can tell you what a doggie says, a chicken says and a bear...and kind of a duck , lol.

She now relates the computer to daddy. She comes in here and points and says daddy. She loves when we Skype him. Thank God for technology!

She reads...All. The. Time.

Gets so excited when anyone reads to her.

Her favorite book is her Rhyme Bible. We read before bed and at other times.
She loves to turn the pages when I tell her to.

And the biggest news lately,

Brynlee will have a little SISTER!

15 month photo's

A couple weeks later then I had expected but finally was able to get these done.

They turned out pretty well I think. She wasn't too smiley but hey, what can ya do.

I love my new bubble props! I think they give it just enough ooomph...lol

She wouldnt' leave Mister Ducky on the ground!

I did get this gorgeous shot, I must admit, it might be my newest favorite of her! Printing and Framing for sure!

16 weeks...already!

So here I am...starting to post about being pregnant...again! Seems like I just did this...oh I did. Haha.

Anywho. Here is the pic of me yesterday, at 16weeks. The one below is comparing from last pregnancy. I think I'm the same...what do you think!?

This was my first look at comparing and I must admit, I was quite nervous this time around and scared to get bigger faster and all that fun stuff. Looking that this, my nerves are a little calmer. Lol.

I have felt baby move here and there. I go next week for my appointment and then soon after that we do our big ultra sound. I'm pretty excited but sad Nick won't be here with me. I'm having the u/s tech either write it on a piece of paper and seal it in a manila envelope...or...if I can find some pink and blue teddy bears...use those and a box. So then when I talk to Nick we can Skype and find out together still. I just hope I won't have to hold onto that envelope or box too long before talking to him! I heard the idea from someone in Italy I believe...so I'm kinda stealing it. I love it.

Nicks excited that I am willing to do this as well.

Other than that. Thats all thats going on pregnancy wise. I feel great. Tired some but not near the first trimester tiredness!

4th Celebration {long post!}

We had a wonderful 4th. I have other pictures from the celebration at church, but they are on my laptop, which my husband took with him to the desert. Hehe.

First off we started by going to our towns(teeny town) festival thing. We saw a parade. SHORT one at that. Then waited for the fireworks. {again, I have pics of B's first fireworks, but not on here} She was in awe. Wasn't too sure but just laid there and watched any how.

That was Friday. Saturday we just hung out. Bought some fireworks and shot some off that evening. Brynlee wasn't too find of the super close and not to mention loud ones going off just a few feet from her {no she wasn't in danger} If she was on our laps, she was good though. She DID however LOVE sparklers. Oh so pretty and not so noisy!

{Nick took his hand away for a split second for the pic....otherwise we were safe}

I do love that picture, although Kodi kinda of ruins it with his big head in the back.
Safe in daddy's arms.

Being from Phoenix, we were pretty excited to be able to shoot some off in the comforts of our driveway!

This one was sooo bright!

More sparklers.

Sunday we had the celebration at our church. Again I wish I had the pics here. Brynlee got her face painted and stood, didn't run or walk, just stood in the sprinklers they had set up. She also got in her first bounce house. She seemed to like it too. It was a good time!

Monday, the 4th, we headed over to our new and good friends house for a BBQ and fun in the sun. It was very chill and relaxing. Tons of kiddos were there which made some parts crazy, but memories they are.
Here is Brynlee and Hannah. They get asked if they are twins when we are out together... especially with this squint they have here.

Hannah's big pool was being filled up, so it was perfect standing height for B. She loved it . Shocking!? Nope.

Then we headed downtown for the big show. We had a big group. We shot off fireworks in the street.....but then had to come to a hault...as the city cop stopped us even though the county cop said its ok. He clearly needs to learn the city limits rules.

B and her new friend. He was sharing his gold fish and his chair. I think he has a crush.

Chilling and eating.
What more could you ask for?!

Our set up, BEFORE we had to stop the fun fireworks. Lol.

I know its a week late, but we had family time that was needed. Hope everyone had a great and memorable Independence Day!

Another month gone by...

Look who's 14 months!

Man oh man, why has another month gone by so quickly. Yes I do say that in almost every month post I do. But hey, its how I feel!

This will be a quick one, as we are still in Arkansas visiting family.

Here's her stats:
19.6lbs
29 1/2 in

She says:
Daddy
Mama
Doggie
Kaci
I love you-not that clear, but its obvious what she is saying
Hi
Bye Bye

She signs:
Food
More
Milk
Please
Thankyou

She loves to play outside in the pool or run in the grass.

Any doggie is a friend of B's. {might not be a good thing, lol}

Still doesn't watch much TV but still enjoys her spurts of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Elmo's World and Veggie Tales.

Takes 2 naps a day.

Wears a size 3 in disposable diapers.

Still wears cloth 95% of the time.

She loves to learn new things and is a very fast learner!

Unfortunately she can figure most electronics out. My phone, she can unlock it by sliding the puzzle piece on the touch screen to the correct spot. And loves to scroll through the pictures.

She's so stinkin' smart its crazy, no I'm not bragging I'm just stating the truth!

Thats all for now, hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend!

So....

We found out on April 29th. Didn't tell anyone but family...except my mom.

B and I were hopping on a plane on May 10th to come to her Nursing graduation, so we decided I'd tell her in person. She was soooo excited and said its the best graduation present ever.

Then she went on and told everyone! Lol. So I decided I guess I can tell everyone too, since she did. I am very excited. At first, I was scared to death and wasn't feeling it. I was sad to share my time with B and know it would never be just us 2 again once this little one is born.

Once it sunk in and I talked to a few of my friends with young kids close together, I felt a peace about me. And of course I prayed about it.

Now that its been a few weeks. I am much much better about it and so very grateful for the miracle that God has placed inside me.

Nick is just overjoyed. He was when I told him. Which helped a lot in my being excited haha. I haven't been to the doctor yet. I did go to base for them to tell me I was pregnant with a blood test. Positive.

Since I left soon after and the referral takes a little bit to go through. I hope to be seen soon after we get back...which is after June 12th. My calculations say I am 8wks today. We'll see how accurate that is in a few weeks. December baby it will be!

I've been feeling good. TIRED. A little nauseas, but nothing major. I'll take major tiredness over horrible sickness any day! So its super nice to be here with Nana and Mom so they can take B and I can sleep. Lol. Spoiled I am.

The visit has been great so far! Can't wait till Nick and my other babies get here next weekend though. Vacations are just not the same with out your love!

OK thats all the news I have now. Oh wait I'll brag on B a little.

She says: Hi. Kaci. Daddy. Mama. Doggie. I think thats it with her words.

Sign language she says. Food. Milk. More. Please. Thankyou.

I think thats all!

{13 months}

I tell ya, it really feels like we were just celebrating her birthday, and another month has come and gone! Oh boy.

So, this pic isn't the greatest, but she is still so cute! Or so we think!

Lets see what Miss B has been up to!

*Walking everywhere. Even can get up without out the help of anything or anyone.

*Talks. All. The. Time. {dada. mama. bye bye. hi. kodi/kaci(its the same)}

*Eats almost anything. Used to eat all veggies, now has become a little picky. Not sure why. Hopefully it won't last. If I sprinkle some cheese on them...she's good to go though. {but who isn't!?}

*Points to the A-10s and C-130s when they fly over our house.

*Still loves to be outside.

*Size 3 in disposable diapers when she wears them.

*Would rather read then play with her toys. Not complaining there.

*Can wear anywhere from some 3-6 month clothes(shorts in pic are) to 12month clothes.

*Loves to talk on the phone.

*Gives kisses to everything, especially her stuffed toys.

*Runs{as fast as her legs go right now} to daddy when he comes home.

I think thats it..well I know its not but thats all I can think of right now. Hope everyones week has been great!

The curse of the new car?!

Tada!

Blah. I hate Wal*mart parking lots! And I do not say hate very often at all! I have had this car 9 days. There are still paper plates on it! The cop was like, wow...thats what happens when you buy a new car...I was like well thanks for the info...ha.

So yeah. This is the passenger side back door. Thats where B sits. BUT she wasn't with me. Not that she would have gotten hurt, it still would have freaked me out more then this already did. I almost took the Tracker too! Because of the storms we had yesterday, I was like maybe I'll take Tracker in case it hails...well no hail..but I sure wish I would have drove it!

This was my very first run in with the law...I guess you can say. I've never had a ticket. Never been in an accident, not even a fender bender like this one. So I am very thankful for the 10 years I've been driving that nothing has happened, until now. Still wishing it never happened of course.

So, this is what happened:
Parking lot. The row was a one way. With the slanted parking spots. I was in mine, and this other lady was in hers, directly across from mine (granted in the slanted spots it actually not direct but ya know). Anyhow. We were backing up at the same time. I looked, I even have a back up camera, yes I used it too, she says she looked as well. I was practically backed out and I hear a crunch! Now that was a lot louder then I've ever imagined to be, haha. Like paper crunching but worse, if that makes sense. We both were in our blind spots because of the parking spots. Her damage was only to her tail light, man I would have traded her! She smashed my door very nicely with her oh so strong metal of a Mercedes.

Thats it. She was very nice. That helped the oh so distraught me. The cop was very nice too. So, it was a pleasant, or as good as it could get, experience. I know it could have been worse. A mean person. A not so delightful cop. Still, I wish this whole experience didn't happen at all of course. However, it did. And I'm glad it was with the lady that it was with and the cop too.

I'm trying to stay on the positive side. I'm fine. She's fine. Its just a car {brand new of course, lol} still just a material thing. It was just a fender bender in the parking lot, I'd take those over accidents at higher speeds any day. We have full coverage, so that is a plus too. All in all, it could have been worse. Yes, thats me again trying to be on the positive side, because everytime I go look at the car or this picture I want to cry...again.

Prayers that it can get fixed fast, so Nick is able to drive it to Arkansas May 27th. The door doesn't seal but its still usable. I'm taking it to get evaluated today, hoping they can start the process next week to fix it!

Pretty Girl

I know its late, but better late then never right?!
Here are a few of her Easter Pictures. I absolutely love her dress.

I actually bought that dress last year, after Easter for 50% off. Hoping it would actually fit her. So glad it does!

Oh and on a side note, she walks more then she crawls....started yesterday. They grow up too fast!

A first for us!

Here is my new baby!

Isn't she a beauty?!
We've never had a new car. We went back and forth and back and forth on whether or not to get used or new...

We finally decided on new. This time in our lives we can afford one. It totally might be the only time in our lives...or for a long long time that we could do this. So we went for it. Plus, we plan on taking quite a few long road trips, so we figured we want all the miles to be ours!

We got it how we want it. I got my sunroof! I LOVE it!
It also has a back up camera. Bluetooth. Upgraded sound system. Remote start...

Oh my there are so many buttons! I'm gonna learn them all sooner then later, I hope!
The back seat is voted the most roomiest for an smaller SUV and the seat actually moves back and forth...when B goes forward facing, I'll put it all the way up and I can reach her better! Oh and speaking of that, her huge Britax carseat, fits so good rearfacing! Even with the seats all the way back!

I am in love. Hehe. Its so smooth, my Tracker...mind you I've had it since I was 18...was rough. Its a stick and its old. So riding in this was like floating on air. Or to me it was.

The best thing about it is, it gets 32mpg...for an SUV...its the best! I did lots of searching and searching...I am glad we both agreed on this one. I know we'll be very happy we did!

Sunshine and Easter eggs.

We had lots of fun yesterday.
The church we've been going to had an egg hunt for the kiddos.
Nick was kind of iffy about going because B isn't very old..
After it was all said and done, he said he was very glad we went..he said:
"How her face lit up when she got her eggs was well worth it"
All in all, success. She loved putting them in her basket. Granted, she only got two.
She sure was excited about her two eggs though!
I'll be taking her Easter pics here soon, this week I am hunting for ribbon that matches her Easter dress...not the one in the pictures...so I hope I can find some so she can have a purdy matching bow!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter...remember...hunting eggs, chocolate, sitting on the bunny's lap..its all fun..but its not the reason we celebrate Easter....
He is Risen!

My baby girl is gettin too big...

We went outside yesterday to take some pictures. I think we'll go back out later in the evening so the sun isn't blinding her and she isn't squinting.
They still came out rather well. She is such a ham I can't stand not laughing!
This one, above, is my ultimate favorite. I usually like her huge smiley ones, but this is just so, I dunno, you fill in the blank.
Nick made that box, I have been excited to use it for our kids, now I'm sad that I had to use it. Haha.
She gets SO much attention wherever we are and oh does she love it. She just smiles back and points.
She is SO close to walking. I mean she can, she just has to choose when to do so. Usually its when we ask her to, but lately she has been going from one toy, or chair or something to another thing a couple feet away with out gettin down to crawl...so soon she'll be a real walking fool.
She loves to be outside, and play with sticks. Not sure if its the dogs influence on her or what but she is a very happy camper if she has a stick to carry with her. Not that she isn't a happy girl most times anyways.
Pacifier aka teaser addicted.
Oh man. I can look at these pictures all day. Now I just have to figure out which one, or ones are going to be hung on the wall!
This is a sweet picture too. She is standing by our neighbors garden, huge garden that is!
Last but not least....model much!? This cracks me up.
