Tada!

Blah. I hate Wal*mart parking lots! And I do not say
hate very often at all! I have had this car 9 days. There are still paper plates on it! The cop was like, wow...thats what happens when you buy a new car...I was like well thanks for the info...ha.
So yeah. This is the passenger side back door. Thats where B sits. BUT she wasn't with me. Not that she would have gotten hurt, it still would have freaked me out more then this already did. I almost took the Tracker too! Because of the storms we had yesterday, I was like maybe I'll take Tracker in case it hails...well no hail..but I sure wish I would have drove it!
This was my very first run in with the law...I guess you can say. I've never had a ticket. Never been in an accident, not even a fender bender like this one. So I am very thankful for the 10 years I've been driving that nothing has happened, until now. Still wishing it never happened of course.
So, this is what happened:
Parking lot. The row was a one way. With the slanted parking spots. I was in mine, and this other lady was in hers, directly across from mine (granted in the slanted spots it actually not direct but ya know). Anyhow. We were backing up at the same time. I looked, I even have a back up camera, yes I used it too, she says she looked as well. I was practically backed out and I hear a crunch! Now that was a lot louder then I've ever imagined to be, haha. Like paper crunching but worse, if that makes sense. We both were in our blind spots because of the parking spots. Her damage was only to her tail light, man I would have traded her! She smashed my door very nicely with her oh so strong metal of a Mercedes.
Thats it. She was very nice. That helped the oh so distraught me. The cop was very nice too. So, it was a pleasant, or as good as it could get, experience. I know it could have been worse. A mean person. A not so delightful cop. Still, I wish this whole experience didn't happen at all of course. However, it did. And I'm glad it was with the lady that it was with and the cop too.
I'm trying to stay on the positive side. I'm fine. She's fine. Its just a car {brand new of course, lol} still just a material thing. It was just a fender bender in the parking lot, I'd take those over accidents at higher speeds any day. We have full coverage, so that is a plus too. All in all, it could have been worse. Yes, thats me again trying to be on the positive side, because everytime I go look at the car or this picture I want to cry...again.
Prayers that it can get fixed fast, so Nick is able to drive it to Arkansas May 27th. The door doesn't seal but its still usable. I'm taking it to get evaluated today, hoping they can start the process next week to fix it!
