I am so ready for the holidays! Its our first real ones together. Last year we were together for Christmas but not Thanksgiving. But I consider this one our real first ones together, married that is. Because this time around we have our own place,that of course the government actually owns. haha!, but I indeed get to decorate it how I want! With all my things!
Granted, I don't have much. I definatly don't have much Harvest/Thanksgiving stuff. I have more Christmas stuff but still not much. Lol. I did a lot of after Christmas sales before we PSCed last year!
So I can't wait till I can decorate. More so for Christmas. So I got about a month. We are going to put our tree up the day after Thanksgiving, I got a 7.5 footer on sale at Walmart last year! Its still in its box!
Can't you tell I am excited!

I think that is about it for now.
Oh for Thanksgiving, we are having people over here. Should be fun and interesting. We are cooking the Turkey,using your recipe you gave me last year Arlene, and a few other things, then others are bringing stuff too. I love playing host, so I hope all goes well!

Im ready, too!! I think I have convinced Brandon to let me do a blue and silver themed christmas tree this year. My trees are very organized and I dont like to just throw everything on there. We've been doing red and silver for the past few years.. I want a change!! :) Cant wait to see your pictures.
LOL, I'm excited, too! This is the first (Thanksgiving and) Christmas we'll have together actually ON TIME and actually IN OUR OWN HOME! Crazy that it's been three years and we still haven't had one, huh? We don't even have a tree -- just a little tabletop one I got for, like, $10 before he came home from Afgh*nist*n.
I can't wait to see your pictures, either! Oh, and I hope your turkey turns out yummy! I will probably do that recipe again this year, too :o)
