Arizona State Fair

While in Az. The fair was going on. I was super excited. Since the closest fair to us is like 2 hours away and it was going on when we were gone anyhow.

I haven't been to the fair since we moved from Az. So it was quite nice.

We went on a Sunday afternoon, so it really wasn't too busy. I was just there for the atmosphere and of course, Food!

Its a pretty big fair I think. Although I haven't been to a ton really.

Nick, Me and Dad on the Ferris wheel.
I was so thankful Nick got to be there!

This was B's first fair, and she got to enjoy it as well! She kept asking to do this slide, over and over again! Which was ok cause they didn't charge her tickets for it and everyone but me had the wristbands....so it worked!

Nick, My sister and her BF Brendan. They were waving to B, who started crying when they left.

Of course she rode the carousel with Grandpa. She smiled after she passed us...everytime.

Is there a Basketball, Beachball, or Soccerball in there?!

LOL.

I knew I was more belly then I was last time, but when I saw these pictures, I was like whoa
what is that?! Ha.

I had my 31 weeks appointment today.

Her heartbeat is in the 150s. Its been in the 140s.

Measuring great.

Gained 20 pounds so far.

At 32 weeks with Brynlee I had gained 24 pounds, so I think I'm doing rather well for the second baby. As long as I don't totally blow up in the next 6-9 weeks!

If I do, oh well. As long as Baby Girl is healthy!

I do not have a 31 week picture with B.

I have a 34 one I believe it was. So next one will be then, so I can compare the difference.

Don't you love how B is just staring at me taking the picture!? Lol.

Silly Girl.

Surprise!

So, as we were nearing the end of this deployment, my friend Holly was here keeping us company. I had a wedding to photograph in AZ in Oct...so we had plans to go out there and visit my dad and sister and some friends along with the wedding. Holly, B and I were driving to Arkansas, to my moms, to drop the dogs off. Plus its way cheaper to fly out of Little Rock then either Jacksonville or Atlanta. We planned to leave Oct 3, and Holly was flying out of there on the 5th. Well then I got word Nick was suppose to arrive on the 5th. So Holly being the awesome person she is, suggested staying and surprising him. So she canceled her flight (we found out that from my moms to her parents where she is staying was only 4 hrs so we just drove half way!)

So between the 3 different changes in arrival time, we did end up staying and surprising Nicholas when he got off that bus, not expecting anyone to greet him. The look on his face was priceless. I loved that we got to stay, but then we left the next morning. Still, totally worth it! Plus he came and met us in Phx!

Waiting for the bus!

Love it!

She missed her daddy so much!

Ah to be together again!

25 Weeks

Time really is starting to fly by...and some days I want it to, some days I don't.

Lord Willing, this will be the last time I'm pregnant, and I do enjoy it, so thats where I don't want it to end...but then some days I am anxious to see what she looks like. Will she look like B or completely different?!

Here is Baby #2
And here is Brynlee

I am carrying quite differently this time. A lot lower and more out then round. I feel like I'm smuggling a basketball with me wherever I go. She is very active. I'd say more then B was...but its hard to really remember.

I had an appointment today. Everything looks great. Her heartbeat was in the 140s, which is where its been the whole time. Funny how different her and Brynlee are in that department. Brynlee's heart rate was always in the 160s. My belly is measuring a week behind, but I know I'll catch it up. I feel like a balloon half the time, but am still being told I don't look like I should be 6 months pregnant. Which makes me feel much better! Hehe.

No, she technically still has no name. We have agreed on one, but we aren't making it official till we can discuss it in person...and even then...we probably are going to keep it a secret! If I can! So far I've been good, but we'll see once we have a name to call her if I can keep my excitement down!

I feel very blessed and thank the Lord daily for my baby girl Brynlee and the new one on her way. I know they are a gift from the Father and definitely something none of us momma's should take for granted!

Mom's Weekend Visit

Here are just a few of the memories we made while Mom was here visiting Brynlee and I.

9/11- Sunday morning before Church.

We went to a birthday party and Brynlee got to play on these awesome blow up slides. She loved it!

She went over and over...

Walmart Run!

LOL
Mom cleaned up our yard...we have a cluster of tree's and there was wood piled and brush. It was a great home for critters we don't really want in our yard, so she burned it all! Go mom!

We painted B's room. She thought she'd help. Lol.

I love you Mom!

Morning at the Park

Our church has a playgroup that we actually only had been to once. It was at this park but the beginning of summer. Then they took a break and yesterday was the first day back. We decided to go, I mainly wanted to get out and go play at the park, and the weather wasn't too hot. Overcast so that helped with a nice breeze.

We don't have a park within walking distance so we haven't taken Brynlee in a LONG time. Not since she has been walking/running around. Plus its always been too hot.

She did LOVE playing on the swings and the slide though. She is getting too big!

Climbing like a big girl.

Didn't quite understand this, she just wanted to sit on it..

23 weeks

I must say, I am not as good as keeping updates this time around. I do keep quite busy with this adorable 17 month old running around my house. I'm not complaining whatsoever! She cracks me up all day long!

Anyways,

Here is me, second pregnancy at 23 weeks. I do not have a 23 week picture, that I can find that is...from last time. I do have a 25 one, so that post will be a comparable one. Sometimes I feel rather large, other times I feel small. I think to me it depends on what I am wearing. Lol.

My next appointment is on the 14th...which is 25 weeks. So I'll have actual stats then. I haven't stepped on the scale for a while, and thats ok. Haha.

I am feeling great. Very tired, but again I think that comes with having a 17month old and playing single parent. I am just very thankful she is a very good girl, most times. I am also very hungry. I was thinking about it though. Maybe I feel more hungry this time because, again, I am busy all day with Brynlee that I don't snack as much as I did last time. So when it comes to the evenings, when B is in bed...I just want to eat. Haha. Oh well....

We are getting a 4D ultrasound. We didn't plan on it, but the office I go to does them for free when the husbands are deployed. And the time frame they do them, 25-28 weeks, Nick will still be gone. So we are going to get it. Why not right!? Plus we can double check for her supposed girl parts, hehe. Since it was really early when we found out, 17weeks, so that will be nice. Also, if all works out we can Skype it with Nick while its going on. So thats neat.

Other then that, thats all with me and Baby 2. She might have a name, but we aren't sharing it. We might keep it till she's born or we might share it who know's. Its not set in stone though, Nick and I agreed we won't set a name in stone until he comes home.

Have a safe and wonderful Labor Day weekend!

Brynlee's a Big Girl.

She loves to use utensils. Although usually I have to help her a lot more. Lately she has really figured out how to use the fork. The spoon is a whole other story..since she like twists it on the way to her mouth...everything falls off. So we're just working on that still. Lol.

Just a few...

I have been asked by some to post some pics of our house...since the last time I did it was empty. So here are some:

Here is the kitchen a little close up. I LOVE my flat top stove!

This is the view of the kitchen standing by the door to the garage. Which is also by the laundry room and our bedroom. You can see the living room and front door too.

Kitchen from the living room. Its not a huge one, but it is perfect for us for now!

Kitchen is to the right. Living room behind and left...this is our hallway. Brynlee's door on right. Opened bathroom door. Extra bedroom across from B's.

Standing close to the front door. Hallway is to the left there.

Standing at the front door. This is the living room. I LOVE my real wood floors. Lol. We have nothing, well one thing, on the wall above couch. Its a huge wall. I have a plan, but it consists of a big family picture...but we're waiting for the 4th member...lol

Standing in the kitchen. Front door there. Big huge window that goes to the ground practically.
Notice our awesome tray ceilings. So pretty. I plan to paint the trim up there...you can kinda see it...red as well.

Here is Brynlee's bathroom. ORANGE. PINK. LIME. BLUE. Its a bright one!
Then I just had to share my latest purchase. Isn't it pretty. Hobby Lobby,50% off. Woop woop!

Dad's Visit {warning: picture overload}

August 1-10, 2011
Dad's Visit to good ole Southern Georgia.

We didn't do a ton of out and about-ness. Thats not why he came of course. But He did help A LOT with things that we wanted/needed done at the house.
I should have taken pics of him doing the projects...oops. One thing he did do that I love, is put a peep hole in our front door! Now I don't have to crack it before knowing who it is!

Brynlee saying "CHEESE"

Dad also played with the sprinkler system we didn't know we had. I know it sounds crazy, but they sodded our yard. So what looks like was the deal is that they put the sprinklers in first, then sod...sod being very thick... therefore pretty much burying the spickets. I don't really care how we missed them. We have them and that's all I'm happy about! ( although they don't' cover our entire giant yard...close..to get our whole backyard we'll have to add like 4 or 5...better then putting the whole system in!)
We did go to Wild Adventures, so Grandpa could see how much B loves the water! She kept him chasing her the whole time. I loved just sitting and watching!

Break time from the sun a bit.
Poor B. All that sun and chlorinated water made her sick the next morning. Throwing up all she had in her tummy...till noon. Then she was good to go...I felt so bad!

Gatorade Popsicle...all over Grandpa!

Chalk is pretty exciting.

Me and my baby at the beach in Florida.

Monkey see monkey do....she is taking a picture of herself...

Grandpa did TONS of reading.

And tons of playing! Mind you, he hadn't seen B since she was 5 months old!

Stealing Grandpa's corn at the Smokin' Pig

On Grandpa's Birthday..at the Smokin' Pig.

On Grandpa's birthday..he bought Brynlee a stroller. Lol.

Last day, my dad had to go check out the statics on base...he misses the Military a lot..

In front of Daddy's Jet. The beastly A-10.

We had a great visit. Brynlee just loved her Grandpa and actually called him that...but it sounds more like...Paa Paa...maybe we should change that?! Lol.

Dad put some shelves up for me. Michelle, his girlfriend came with him and she was a blessing as well. She finished painting Brynlee's bathroom for me. She did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen every night after I had cooked dinner. And of course she helped with B too. Dad did some yard work, and showed me how to do certain things. He finished our fence...no more gaps...no more escaping dogs...until they figure out how to jump or dig under it...PRAYING THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN! He tried to fix our mower...he got it to run, but it was still throwing fits. (not that I can use it, its a push mower and our yard is too big, its too hot, and I'm not having a pregnant heat stroke from it) He also put in some locks on the front and back door. High up so when B gets older she won't and can't escape. She already reaches for the door knobs.....nice right. The company was wonderful...I wasn't ready for them to leave. Life goes on.

On another note, my mom is coming for a few days in a few weeks. Then after that Holly gets here for a few weeks and then we drive to Arkansas to my moms and grandparents house. She will stay a bit then fly out of Little Rock then Brynlee and I will stay a week and fly out to Phoenix for 10 days. I am photographing a wedding out there and I'm pretty nervous and excited. Prayers please! Then we'll fly back to Little Rock and leave soon after to drive back home. {reason for driving there...1. Flights are cheaper. 2. My mom is keeping my dogs.}Hoping Daddy has already gotten home. Or will be home soon. We really don't want to miss the homecoming...but I know there will be more of them....Still I want to be here. Prayers for that too.
